Yoichi Sakai, a director/cinematographer who studied filmmaking in Hollywood and loves 8mm film, opened 2022 to put a stop to the shrinking 8mm scene in Japan. 8mm film's image quality is similar to that of “memories” in our minds. It gives us a fluffy, dreamy feeling of about 0.7 instead of 1.5 vision. I love films that have such a taste that even the mood and humidity at the time of shooting comes back to life.

I would like to seriously face your precious memories and works by focusing on color and tone from a creative point of view with world level developing/scanning. We want more people to enjoy 8mm film.
